I have over 10 years of hands-on experience with an array of domestic animals including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, equine, and livestock. In 2014 I started my animal loving journey volunteering at animal shelters. By 2017 I’d completed two internships and secured a tech job in a veterinary office. Despite being diagnosed with SLE Lupus and ITP 1 week before college, I found myself still working, volunteering, and battling Lupus until graduating early, earning my B.S. in Animal Biology and Health Sciences from Alabama A&M University, my service dog by my side. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to understanding and nurturing animals.
